The Schafer State Park team consists of neighbors, friends, staff and other supporters who are working to keep Schafer State Park open and operating as a state park.  Together with supporters of Lake Sylvia State Park we formed
The Friends of Schafer and Lake Sylvia State Parks (FOSLS) with the purpose of preserving, protecting and enhancing our state parks and assisting others with keeping all state parks open and operating as state parks.

Traditional Salmon Bake

In the Community Hall at

Schafer State Park

We’ll provide salmon and “fixins”. 

       Potluck additions welcomed!

Please consider joining FOSLS.. It is just $15, dinner is free and your money goes directly to the parks!

  Guests and non members are

                        asked to donate $7 

Discover Passes are available at the park.

    Just $10 per day or $30 for 12 months

    Discover Pass money goes directly toward

              keeping  your state parks open.

Yule Log Hunt
 
Join us Sunday Dec 9th 1 pm
 
Schafer State Park
W 10365 Schafer Prk Rd Elma, WA
 
 
We'll have a traditional Yule Log hunt for a special yule log hidden in the forest. The kids will drag the log back to the community hall where we'll all gather around a warm fire for hot spiced cider, holiday treats (please bring a few of your favorites), music, singing and good fun.
